I offer original Japanese blades from the 13th to the 20th century exclusively from my own private collection and as a strictly private sale.
Exclusion of Warranty (Disclaimer):
The sale is conducted as a private, occasional sale. The goods are sold under exclusion of any warranty or liability for material defects. This exclusion does not apply to claims for damages resulting from grossly negligent or intentional breach of duties by the seller, nor to any injury to life, body, or health. Returns, refunds, or exchanges are excluded.
All items are sold as shown in the pictures. Since these are historical, certified antiquities, I assume no liability for the contents, classifications, or opinions expressed on the accompanying papers and certificates.
Inspection, In-Person Handover & Shipping:
• In-Person Handover: There is explicitly and at any time the possibility to inspect the pieces in person by prior appointment and to hand them over directly on site.
• Shipping: Shipping is carried out exclusively at the express request, risk, and expense of the buyer. Since this is a purely private sale, the risk of transport passes to the buyer upon delivery to the shipping company (post/courier) in accordance with § 447 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
